"Growing into all God wants us to be"
Everyone in our school community is on an accompanied journey of growth and discovery. God lights the path ahead of us and helps us with every step. “This encourages us to be part of better things and know that God is supporting us every step of the way”. Amelie Y5
Psalm 119:105 underpins our vision: Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Our Leading Lights are a group of children from across all year groups who play a very important role in developing the Christian character of the school. Their responsibilities include:
The Leading Lights meet on a fortnightly basis with Mr Vale-Taylor to plan and rehearse collective worship. They are responsible for maintaining the outdoor reflection area and take the lead in creating and carrying out prayer in both collective and class worship.
Erin in Year 4 said "Being part of the Leading Lights has allowed me to have a say in what happens in collective worship, we especially enjoy collective worship when it is led by our friends".
Willian in Year 1 said "We get to decide on important things, I like doing worship with the bigger children because they help us".
