"Growing into all God wants us to be"

Matthew 13: verses 31-32 underpins our vision: The parable of the Mustard Seed.

Our vision guides the whole school community in ethical and charitable activities both in and out of school. We hold a number of events throughout the year and a selection of these events can be found below. 

School Events

• Harvest Festival - each year children and parents donate food items which are then displayed in St Mary's Church alongside donations from the village community.  The produce is donated to the local Nourish foodbank, while our Year 6 children deliver flowers and plants to village residents. 
• Christmas Jumper Day - we support this event each year, raising money for Save the Children. 
• Little Court Care Home- In December, our Year 6 children will visit Little Court Care Home to sing a selection of Christmas Carols and get to know the residents.
• Rotary Shoebox Scheme - we are asked to collect non food items, small enough to fit into a shoebox, to send to children in Romania and Ukraine, whose only Christmas gift will be the items in the shoebox. 
• Collections at school events - following events such as the Nativity, End of Year Play and music concerts, we collect donations for our school charities for example Folly Wildlife Centre.
• Red Nose Day - children are encouraged to think of innovative ways to raise money for this worthwhile charity. 
• Nourish Foodbank Collection- each week, our school community is invited to donate specific items of food to the Nourish foodbank collection on the school gate.
