New Play Equipment - Parish Council Visit

When Speldhurst Parish Councillors visited the Speldhurst School recently they were surprised to be greeted by two very young headteachers Mr Lewis (Benji) and Miss Lewis (Jessica) who had won the prize of being headteacher for the day in the PTA’s Auction of Promises.

As guests of honour, the councillors were invited to see the very popular ‘trim trail’ in action – only made possible through a £10,000 donation from the Parish Council and a further £5,000 support from PTA fund-raising.

Mr and Miss Lewis presented them each with the highest accolade, the Headteacher’s Award Sticker to say a big thank you (better than a Blue Peter badge some might say)!
