Fire Safety Talk - 20th March 2014
A fire fighter from Kent Fire Brigade came to school and talked to all the children about Fire Safety. He explained how important it was to have smoke alarms, telling us that it takes 36 seconds for a smoke alarm to go off; 5 minutes for a whole room to catch fire and half an hour for a whole house to be ablaze - very startling facts!
Some of us were also able to try on his fire jacket and helmet.
