Sports Day - Friday 18th July 2014
After the previous date having to be postponed due to stormy weather, we were blessed with a dry but very hot morning for our Sports Day. Every child took part from events ranging from flat races to obstacle races, as well as field events including javelin and shot putt for KS2, with KS1 target throwing and standing long jump. The event culminated in a mixed relay race before the winners were announced .... much to Rochester's delight, their house won for the first time in many years. Congratulations to everyone who took part with such good sportsmanship.
