KS2 TASC Day Making Roman Armour - 25th November 2013
After learning so many facts about the Romans and in particular, Roman soldiers, we were given the opportunity to have a go at making our own replica armour. Instead of just working with our class mates, we were put in cross class groups and worked with others from across KS2. We had to use our planning, collaborative and design skills to ensure that we created a full set of armour by the end of the day. Everyone in each group contributed in different ways either designing, painting, constructing or managing.
We paraded our final results to the rest of the school the following morning and our efforts have been proudly displayed in the Orchard Room, near Bramley Class.
