KS2 Trip to Fort Newhaven
The three KS2 classes enjoyed a beautiful day out at Fort Newhaven on 16th October. Whilst there, the children were able to learn a lot more about World War II. There were plenty of exhibitions showing so many aspects of the war including Morrison and Anderson shelters, rationing, Women at War, a `Blitz experience where the children were able to actually experience what it might have been like in a public shelter during an air raid.
