Sports Day - 17th July 2015
Perfect conditions met the athletes as they took to the field for Sports Day. There was a mixture of track and field events to please all competitors, with the event starting off with the long distance races. The new target equipment, purchased with the kindly donated Sainsbury's vouchers, was a great hit with the KS1 children.
We were lucky enough to be very ably assisted by several past pupils and as always were very grateful to Sandy Scott and Olive West for taking charge of the scoring.
After fantastic efforts by all children, everyone keenly awaited the result ... The children had been competing for their house and this year Bodiam were the winners! Paul Jeffrey, a past member of staff, presented the shield to Charlotte, the Bodiam Sports Captain.
Everyone showed true sportsmanship and should be commended for their excellent effort.
