The PTA is run by a committee of volunteer parents and teachers, who are elected at the Annual General Meeting. The committee usually meets every six to eight weeks to think of, and organise, social and fundraising events in order to provide extra benefits for the school and your children’s enjoyment of school life.
Like most PTAs, the majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run. Some of our most popular events are the Bonfire Night, Mini Marathon and Village Pram Race. We also have children’s discos, quiz nights and hold regular cake sales.
So you can see there is always something going on. We always try and respond to the school's requests for help and it is truly the icing on the cake to see them having fun at the events or enjoying using a piece of new equipment that the PTA has funded.
Donations of time, money, items for sale, donations for raffles or offers of services and skills are always greatly appreciated.
